Amber gamblers rejoice!

You approach the intersection at 60 kph the light turns yellow. You’ve got 5 seconds and 50 meters between you and the safety of the far-side of the intersection before the light turns red and the onslaught of traffic from the cross-road begins.  Pedestrians and  cyclists could begin crossing at anytime. What do you do? What do you do?
