Stoned in Wonderland

Now this may come as a shock to some, but Alice in Wonderland may have some drug references in it.
Maybe it’s the surreal environment Alice finds herself in. Maybe it’s the Caterpillar toking away on a hookah. Maybe it’s all the eating of mushrooms. Maybe it’s the fact C.S.Lewis was strung out on opium when he wrote it.
In any case, tumbling down the rabbit hole was probably the best thing that ever happened to Alice. After all, it seems like she’s having a really good time with her new-found friends.
