Four turtles transformed by toxic goo and trained by their rat sensei in the art of ninjutsu to become anthropomorphic ninja warriors.

Named after four Renaissance artists – Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Donatello – they battled petty criminals, evil overlords and alien invaders, all while living in the New York City sewers.

A tribute to the heroes in a half-shell, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
