Goodies. Goody Goody Yum Yum…
Whether it’s a black pudding-wielding Bill Oddie as master of the ancient Lancastrian martial art of Ecky-Thump, an A-string-totting Tim Brooke-Taylor covering his belly button with the Union Jack while fantasizing about Her Majesty, or Graeme Garden inventing random and wonderful concoctions, The Goodies were a cultural phenonemon.
They also hold the rather dubious honor of having someone literally laugh themselves to death while watching their show.
Anything Anytime features a Goodies Crest which includes a number of references including Oddie’s Ecky-Thump black pudding, Kitty Kong, Baked Beans and the three-seater trandem bicycle, as well as the Goodies Motto, anything, anytime.
