It’s a classic tale really: Father killed by an evil villain and his son vowing vengeance spends years hunting for his murderer. Luke Skywalker had a similar situation. Boba Fett. Bruce Wayne. I’d even guess there was a Steven Seagal movie somewhere about it (though it is just as likely that Seagal was the one who murdered someone’s father).

Regardless of the character, the most important thing to do when the evil-doer is found is to have a good quip.
